DFK Gooding Partners announce the appointment of three new Associate Partners to the firm, across specialties of corporate tax, accounting, and business services. Our new Associate Partners have all been promotions from within the business. Andrew Young, Ben Clarkson and Vanessa Wibowo have a collective 49 years experience within the firm, having joined upon graduation from university or shortly thereafter. With a breadth and depth of experience, all have shown outstanding long-term dedication to client and team outcomes.

Andrew Young has over 16 years of experience in the accounting profession, having joined DFK Gooding Partners in 2005 shortly after graduating from university with a Bachelor of Commerce. He completed his CA studies whilst at DFK Gooding Partners, and his experience includes working with a diverse range of clients across a number of industries including areas of corporate tax, international tax and financial reporting. Andrew has been involved with a range of listed companies and managed investment schemes focusing on tax and financial reporting requirements. Andrew is passionate about his role in the firm, and this commitment has propelled his career, professional skills and progression through the organisation. When Andrew’s wife took a role in Adelaide which required him to relocate, DFK Gooding Partners facilitated a remote working arrangement with a DFK firm in Adelaide to allow him to stay on with the firm. Andrew and his family have since moved back to Perth.
Vanessa Wibowo has been with DFK Gooding Partners since 2005, commencing with the firm immediately after university. Vanessa has specialist experience in advising private clients on a broad range of commercial and taxation issues including capital gains tax, goods and services tax, payroll tax and other taxation issues regarding foreign residents. Vanessa is passionate about working directly with clients to ensure that they have pragmatic solutions, while ensuring she has an eye on their future needs which results in an agile and diversified service offering. Vanessa has navigated a successful accounting career, holding a senior manager role for a number of years whilst raising her two gorgeous boys, she also volunteers in various local community roles. Within the firm Vanessa supports our new graduates during their post-tertiary CA ANZ studies.
Ben Clarkson has been with DFK Gooding Partners since 2008. He commenced with the firm as a Graduate Accountant, completing his CA ANZ studies, now overseeing our professional accounting team as a Senior Manager within the Accounting and Business Services division. Ben manages a large portfolio of clients across various industries such as Transport & logistics; Professional Services; Property Development; and High Net Worth Individuals. Ben enjoys working closely with his clients to assist in meeting their goals and ambitions for their businesses with a strong focus on proactive strategies, budgeting and cash flows, all whilst ensuring compliance requirements are met. He also works closely with our staff, managing and supporting their development as exceptional accountants. During his time with the firm, Ben spent a year living in Italy with his now wife, on return to Australia he recommenced his role with the firm with the added bonus of being able to speak Italian and holding a fantastic international appreciation of wine.
