We are very pleased to announce a new partnership as a panel provider with the Food Innovation Preccinct of Western Australia (FIPWA).

FIPWA is a state-of-the-art agri-food facility that exists to transform Western Australia’s agrifood businesses through R&D commercialisation, product development, innovation, trade and export. The purpose built FIPWA ecosystem includes an R&D centre run by Murdoch’s future foods institute, a business innovation and co-working centre, and a common-use food technology and production facility to assist primary producers develop new products.

As one of FIPWA panel providers, DFK Gooding Partners will be supporting FIPWA members through a series of knowledge sharing workshops, drawing on our experience within the startup ecosystem, international business, and insights from the DFK International network.

Comments Managing Partner Stephen Bushell, ‘FIPWA precinct represents the state’s first centre for agrifood innovation and an exciting step forwards in the growth of F&B innovation in WA. We’re very excited to be on board and contributing to the growth of early stage food and beverage companies. Alongside our passion for business, we love local food and beverages, so we’re equally excited to provide ad-hoc QA for any product development if and when required.’

‘The startup ecosystem is a comfortable space for us. We’ve partnered with Plus Eight since 2016 which has involved providing ongoing financial mentoring for founders, so we feel we can add a huge amount of value to the new businesses operating within FIPWA. For established businesses we provide expertise across a range of advisory areas, which are really geared at supporting strategic growth opportunities, and these can be found internally as well as externally.’
